Jeff began his career with Acme Dock Specialists at the tender age of 14. Under the tutelage of his father and grandfather, Jeff worked his way through the service department, warehouse, back office, sales, and territory management.

In 1984, Jeff moved to Los Angeles where he joined the Rite-Hite team. Over the next three years, Jeff gained valuable experience outside the ADS realm. He moved back to KC in 1987 and assumed the position of vice president.

In 1992, he assumed the role of president, managing all aspects of the company’s operations, and, in 2004, he purchased the company.

Jeff is an avid golfer and plays 60-80 rounds of golf per year, which accounts for his handicap of 6! His perfect day would consist of waking up early; enjoying a cup of coffee on his deck while reading the newspaper; hitting the greens around 10:00; playing 36 holes of golf; and then finishing off the day with a nice dinner.

What does he like best about the company? “The people.” Greg started with ADS as a service technician in 1990 and became the service manager in 2010. He has certifications for Rite-Hite, Autoquip, and Liftmaster. ADS appreciates having Greg as part of its team, and is thankful that he didn’t pursue his childhood dream of becoming a trashman.

Did you know …
During Greg’s favorite month (summer),you can find him at the lake, fishing and playing in the water. He’s got all the water toys you can imagine, but his favorite activity is knee boarding. Yes, he does do tricks (such as 360s), but, unlike the slick “hotdogs” on the lake, Greg says, “I do all my tricks in slow motion.” It’s all about maintaining dignity and not wiping out.

Little-known fact
Greg would love to take a road trip and travel throughout all of Canada.

ADS Clients Say It Best…

Thank you for the support that you and your staff provided for the recent audit that was performed at our plant. I know you had to jump through several hoops to pull our PMs up to make this happen. As always, the needed items were performed safely and efficiently and were key to the success of our audit.
