Did you know …
No phone … no computer … 100-degree weather … and lying poolside. That’s a perfect day for Richard. In the evening, when the temperature plummets to 99.7, Richard likes to go for a run. But when the weather becomes totally unbearable in the autumn (say 66 degrees), Richard distracts himself by hunting. Nothing makes him feel better than a hunk of venison jerky.

Little-known fact
Richard has undergone seven surgeries to correct a heart condition he’s had since birth. It’s been tough, but he’s fine now.

Prior arriving at ADS, Andy traveled six to eight months out of the year for work. After becoming a father for the first time, Andy decided he wanted to stay close to his young family.

Andy came to ADS in 2004 and spent his first three years as a field technician. Since 2007, Andy has served as a field service rep. He enjoys being “a problem-solver, taking equipment that is not working or not working well and repairing it or making it better through upgrades.”

Did you know …
When Andy is not problem-solving and exceeding customer expectations, he enjoys spending time with his imaginative young children. Even though rough-housing is more of Andy’s style, he admits to having played a princess a time or two.

Little-known fact
Andy is the youth pastor at The Cause Community Church.

After graduating from college with a BS in corporate communications, Kathy’s career path led her to a wide variety of occupations: certified corporate flight attendant; realtor in the state of Connecticut; vocalist; and hostage negotiator (she is, after all, a mother of two). Kathy also has certifications in CPR, first aid, AED, environmental emergencies, and blood-borne pathogens. So how did Kathy end up as part of the ADS team? If you ask her, she’ll tell you that she forced Jeff Lynch to hire her. (“It’s true, just ask him.”)

Did you know …

Prior to May 2010, Kathy had lived her entire life in Connecticut. When a family member decided to move to Missouri for a job, Kathy decided to tag along. Since that time, Kathy has grown to love Kansas City. One of her favorite things about the area is that you can be in the middle of downtown KC and within 30 minutes you can be in a rural community. And she should know, because Kathy makes that commute to her “farmette” every day. To her way of thinking, that’s the ideal life. Well, that and having a donkey and cart to haul her puppy around the countryside. (Don’t want to get her baby tuckered out.)

Did you know …

Kathy once saved a woman’s life and also saved a neighbor’s house from burning down … though not on the same day. That would merit superhero status.

ADS Clients Say It Best…

I was extremely impressed with not only the products that were installed, including dock levelers, dock seals, sectional doors as well as high-speed roll-up doors, but also the timely fashion in which the work was completed. Acme Dock does an exceptional job with quality control as well as working around my customers needs.
